Unlocking Business Potential with High-Speed Connectivity

Unlocking Business Potential with High-Speed Connectivity

It is a painting of a girl with curly hair.

In today's fast-paced business environment, reliable and high-speed connectivity isn't just a luxury—it's essential for success. Whether you're running cloud applications, hosting video conferences, or managing large data transfers, having the right connection can make all the difference. At Kaizen, we understand these needs and offer tailored connectivity solutions to match your business requirements and budget.

We offer several solutions to meet your connectivity needs, including high-speed broadband (FTTP) and dedicated leased lines, each designed to provide reliable, fast internet access for your business operations.

High-Speed Broadband:

Most commonly refers to fibre optic connections Fibre to the Premises as supplied by Openreach/BT, or the equivalent product which may be available locally from other fibre network providers – City Fibre, ITS, etc.

FTTP offers fast speeds, often up to 1 Gbps or more, with low latency, ideal for heavy internet users, and can be suitable for many businesses with certain caveats. The minimum contract length for this type of service is usually 12 months and is a fixed cost with BT/Openreach the most expensive and other providers selling at a slightly lower cost.

Leased Line:

A leased line is a dedicated, symmetric, uncontended internet connection between your premises and the internet service provider. A connection such as this provides guaranteed bandwidth, often ranging from 10 Mbps up to 10 Gbps or more, so therefore it is ideal for businesses requiring reliable, consistent speeds and high performance, such as for cloud services, video conferencing, and large data transfers and backups.

Leased lines often have to be installed on an individual basis by each fibre provider and their associated ISP and can take up to 90 days to install. Because of the vast differences in delivery performance these are often more expensive connections and the contracts can vary between 12 months and 5 years. Our most common contract length is 3 years. Fibre leased lines usually come with with fixed SLA’s (service level agreements) regarding problem fixing of which there are usually very few. The costs of these connections are reducing all the time so its worthwhile for us to compare them on your behalf.

There can be complications when it comes to installing landline fibre connections, these can be as a result of your landlords or there may be no fibre available locally but we will work with you to get around these issues – high speed mobile connectivity is something that we also deal with on a regular basis.
